guilty feet ain’t got no rhythm

As the nasty little man says in Hellraiser, “What is your pleasure, sir?”

Guilty pleasures are my topic today, musical ones specifically. My confession is America’s “Sister Goldenhair”, which should fit under the category 70’S SOFT ROCK DRECK for me. I love that song. Listen to it a lot.

What’s your guilty musical pleasure? Tell us, tell us.

you never listen to a word i say

I want to blast music in my car, drive 130 in it as I toss back shot after shot of Jack Daniels, and scream to a halt in front of my rival’s house as I reach for my huge firearm, with which I drill him down dead in front of his screaming family. I WANT TO BE AN ANIMAL.

Instead, I think I’ll have japanese noodles after work and go home to read more about Scots History before bedtime.

I am watching the Paris-Dakar Rally at work. It’s the most insane race ever. People in motorcycles, cars, and trucks roaring through the desert at high speed, crashing, getting killed, getting injured. One guy has died so far and another almost did, various others have busted their spleens or something. A truck ran over a WWII mine and blew one of its wheels off. Everything including the drivers’ underwear is full of gritty sand. A dad and son team had an accident in which dad ran over son.

Plus a lot of it is in LIBYA.

So, like, it’s football season, and I, like, work at a sports website.

So, like it’s the playoffs.

So I, like, have to work today. But since it’s an 8 hour work day I work 10-6 although the game doesn’t start until 3:30.

If I stare at the wood grain on my desk long enough it starts to wiggle and stuff. And I see little spider people waving at me!
