There was a special at some point on chickens on National Geographic when I was in high school. I and my friends watched it. At one point, they showed a baby chick breaking out of its egg, flailing in powerless horror at the goop it now knew to be covering its head.
We would mimic this to one another whenever we heard something particularly unthinkable.
And I immediately started doing the baby chicken when I saw this post.
