It’s interesting that the French translators chose to change the simple plural in the title to the more specific “double murders”.
That’s a nice edition; where’d you get it?
That translation is basically why Poe is famous; it’s Baudelaire’s.
My parents got it a long time ago. We have quite a few good French language books, including several Editions Pleiades.
