The heart given up to the people

News from Turkmenistan!. Hail Fredonia, it’s a Stalinist paradise, poorly translated. This country wins the award as Most Bizarre Comic Opera Nation on Earth. The guy’s latest caper is changing the names of the months to his name, his mother’s name, and his favorite words. Let us be grateful to our time for a lucky lot which linked our fates with the historical mission of the great citizen of the new revival era.

well, you’ve peaked my interest. this entire shenanigan is absolutely brilliant. events such as these bring tears of FAITH to my eyes. have you noticed his trafficant-esque style?

[Unidentified man speaking to camera in Turkmen in a foyer] As you know,
before we said Dusenbe [Monday] and we didn’t know the meaning of it.
Starting from now we will use Bas gun [main day] of the week instead of
Dusenbe, the second day [Tuesday] will be Yas gun [young day], the third
day [Wednesday] is Hos gun [good day]. The fourth day [Thursday] is, of
course, the day for asking for good things from the God, that is why it is
Sogap gun [good deeds day], Anna [Friday], the sixth day [Saturday] is Ruh
guni [spirit day] and the last [Sunday] is Dync alys guni [holiday]. The
decision about new names for the days is very important and I admire
greatly our leader’s wisdom in this respect.

[Unidentified women speaking to camera in Turkmen] Our city of Turkmenabat
[in eastern Turkmenistan] is to be divided into two districts. I am very
glad of the fact that these districts will be named after the parents of
our great leader, Gurbansoltan eje and Atamyrat aga. This issue is of great
significance for us. I support these decisions with both hands. I will
    teach them to my pupils.

ubu himself could not have done a better job.
