your slice of life

It’s about the size of an orange I guess and blue and sits under my rib cage. What I want you to do is, just go ahead, just go ahead and feel that. I realized that any woman I had a thing for, she had to have good shoulders, dunno what it is about the shoulders. Shit, even if the car looked like hers his head would snap around. She said her brother asked her what was menopause like and she told him she’d get back to him on that. Well, that’s one way to celebrate Holy Thursday, but it’s not likely to be approved. Church on time, terrifies me. I don’t think he even got into 2nd gear the whole length of 17th street.

The insurance business, it’s all hookers and drugs. Yeah, you found my inner bitch! The DMV, the bank, the credit card people, nobody knew where she was at.

I’m hardly getting over it
hardly getting use to being…

Happy Ishtar

Some of my brethren overreact to the bunnies ‘n’ chocolate version of Easter.

Folks let’s try for a more child friendly approach to religious education next time. I’m also intrigued by the throwaway mention of the “drunken man and self-mutilating woman” who don’t seem like appropriate characters for religious education either.

Thanks to stimps and do_not_lick for this gem.

This is a great example of how adults reveal their own psychoses the best when they’re communicating to kids.

(alone in a crowd)

It was a breathtakingly gorgeous day today. Warm, flowers blooming everywhere, birds chirping, serious Spring Perfection.

I had my first EMDR session. It’s a very odd experience, similar to what I think hypnosis must be like. It’s hard to describe, but I can say it’s not bullshit. Something very odd is happening during the session. If I get a better handle on it I’ll try to describe it some time.

I’m not doing very well at work. Hard to get things done. I worry that I’ll get in trouble there.

My friends talk a lot about sex. Jokes about sex, stories about sex, stories about sexual relationships. It makes me feel left out, and I’m not sure how to deal with it. So I use humor, which is what I do to make uncomfortable things go away. We laughed, we were merry.

You’re a hard act to follow
Keeping me at arms’ length
Sapping my strength from a distance
