This is mostly for , a version of the Funkadelic classic from the 1988 album "Curtains" by the Balancing Act, an underrated L.A. band I was happy to count as friends in the 80s.

Interesting – I hear all sorts of influences there. Can I take my time machine and go back to the eighties? Sans eighties fashion, of course.

My 80s fashion was jeans and a t-shirt, same as now 😀 And it was a great time for variety and fusion in music. Can’t wait until that happens again.
