I’m a walk in for sure. Why? I have all the symptoms. I’m middle class, white, vaguely dissatisfied, and willing to suspend all reason in order to convince myself that I’m special despite all outward counter indicators.

Wow, that was absolutely everything wrong with our society in one big clusterfuck. Discipline is bad, sloppy thinking is a sign of enlightenment, everything happens for A Reason, “spirituality” and science are interchangeable, et cetera, et cetera. You can’t beat this country for a shameless bald-faced sense of entitlement, or for convoluted attempts to come up with a God who just makes puppies and rainbows and would never let anything bad happen to us.
