My cat is not very competent at stealth.
At first, the cat has managed to completely conceal herself using the coffee table, as she had intended.
However, she soon forgets that she has ears that protrude above her eye level. She can now be partly observed, and she’s unaware of this fact.
Finally, she completely loses her discipline and much of the top of the head may also be seen. At this point I feel that she has given up on the whole idea of hiding.

TWO DAYS OF PEACE, LOVE, AND LIVESTOCK
Seminars, demonstrations, fiber arts, photocontest, and much much more, all in honor of everyone’s favorite camelid!
The new exhibitor’s seminar is led by Nard Mullan and you can’t beat that with a stick. Sample seminar:
Heads Up – The anatomy of alpaca handling (Cathy Spalding)
Explore the effect of anatomy on behavior. Using visual aids, Cathy offers a hands on opportunity experience the delicacy of the alpaca skull. Learn answers to important questions such as… Why is a properly fitted halter the difference between life and death? Is my alpaca thick headed or is the halter on wrong? If you were suffocating, would you stand still?
Now there’s a reason for a road trip to Puyallup, WA if i ever heard one! Which I haven’t. I thought it was the same town that had the National Lentil Festival with people dressed as lentils and lentil music, but that’s Pullman, WA which is another Pu town in WA.
So anyway it’s alpacas in Puyallup which is a great thing to say and even more so it’s Alpacapalooza in Puyallup which is so damn much fun to say that I am doing so over and over already.

Happy New Year and dog
Dog; fritter; FRITTERSCAPE
Catherine has a new dog, Boca. Boca’s lower jaw protrudes to a degree that suggests she is a reptile rather than a dog. She is a very sweet animal.
I made a fritter tonight out of leftover mashed potatoes and egg. I ate it, but first I took pictures of it. I have thought about this fritter all day and it was just as good as I had imagined it would be.
Because of my love for the fritter I also made a desktop image that is a cropped fritterscape.
If you want a fritterscape, click on it and you can get larger versions of it from flickr.
I sent a message to the LJ about how cool I think Martin Diedrich’s new coffee place, Kéan, is. But post by email blew today so you didn’t see that.
I really liked that fritter.
