There’s a billboard on my commute for a company that’s hiring technical people. They’re using Unix commands in the ad to attract the people they want, so the ad says:
tail -f the latest thing? Then
Whenever I go by I think “No, I’d want to
tail -F in that case, because the latest thing always ends pretty quick and the next one arrives.”

a UNIX CLI billboard?! we don’t get anything as cool as that up here … 😦
(and I had actually never seen the -F option, so today is now a net win – I learned a new command-line tool option! yay!)
And now you know that the asshole who wrote that copy is looking for somebody who will be happy driving a Solaris 2.4 box all day long.
And the worst part: it’s for some biz dev job.
And that’s when I rm -rf / the entire drive!
o/` That’s when I reach for my revolver o/`
i don’t get it completely but I get the frustration.
