Speaking of God(s) punching puppies, something recently turned Ambae’s lake Manaro blood red inside the course of a week. A friend of mine who’s on the disaster management team took this photo.

And yes, that’s an active lava chamber under the lake. Which means that Marvin’s earth-shattering kaboom should be along shortly. Also, we’re running out of virgins.
