Successful food photogrpahy without fakery is very tricky. You have it solved — that’s some delicious looking food. I’m a sucker for beets though. Gnar gnar.

Beets are also nice with lemon, olive oil, and mint.
Tonight, as part of my campaign to teach myself to cook at least one kind of meat, I sauteed chicken breasts with yellow peppers, zucchini, lemon, garlic, ginger, mangoes, and a little wine. Over garlicky peppery rice. Not bad, if a few too many ingredients.
