Sunday night’s the longest

Dear the Internet: I’m not very interested in end-times spam. I’m even less interested in end-times spam that references the “Left Behind” series of fundamentalist potboilers. And when it comes from “exceptionalcouponsforyou.com” you’re really trying my patience.

The death of Yasser Arafat has important bearing on the peace process in the Middle East and the restoration of Israel. Some believe that his removal from the process will make peace more achievable and potentially allow the prophecy of Israel to be fulfilled. Others fear that his demise will throw the region into chaos if… Read all 5 Signs now – just enter your email address.

If it’s a prophecy and has to come true, how could it not? Why would something make it.. oh never mind. Morons are so cool.

In other news, my language parser is about 75% broken. At the hardware store checkout counter today there was a display inviting me to purchase Blistex. I was reminded of this today when I found myself rehearsing failed cooking experiments of the past few years in the same way one does failed luv relationships or jobs or schools. Well, that and 25 years of being a complete failure with women.

Pizza, again.

Reading the excellent Wikipedia article on pizza while eating some made me wonder about more pizza variants. They mention the basics also, but I saw references in my poll responses to Old Forge Style, New Haven Style, the california gourmet pizzas, and Boston pizza.

Wikipedia also refers to a Scottish practice of serving fish & chips with a deep fried frozen pizza, but let’s just let that slide on by, okay?

The pizza industry has what looks like a pretty good site of their own.

Any other major pizza variants people know of?
