Oh, I wish I could go! I’d get a pith helmet and everything!! =D I loooove mummies. Have you read the Mummy Congress book? I expect yes. Anyway, highly jealous here. =)

we just saw the king tut exhibit at LACMA, i wonder how this one compares? tut was pretty good, but they didn’t have his casket, which was a bit of a letdown.

I have seen a lot of this stuff when I was a kid in the British Museum, and I saw the Tut thing as a little kid too. I liked this stuff better, partly because of MUMMIES YAY and partly because the Tut thing was such a crowd scene and a spectacle that I didn’t really get to see anything.

yeah it was so crowded there, hard to see the things on display. i was more interested in reading about mummification anyhow, jars for viscera and all that.
