Widgets can autoinstall. Widgets are hard to remove if you don’t know what you’re doing. Widgets can screw you really hard in the wrong hole. There’s even a goatse widget! Oops. Perhaps they should have thought this part of Tiger through just a little bit more.

  Heh. If you turn on Safari’s “autoinstall widgets” it does just that, giving you an amazing trip in the wayback machine to ActiveX in 1996!

    I’ve only ever used Safari to download Mozilla, but this is obviously yet another case of Apple stealing ideas from Mircosoft.
