I woke up this morning to find that we have outlived the myth of trust.

  1. Lost in a one story town
Where everything’s close to the ground
Yeah the same shit goes down
    Nothing turns around
    It’s a one story town

  2. Bad news, bad news came to me where I stayed
    Turn, turn, turn again
One of your friends is in trouble deep
Turn, turn to the rain and the wind

  3. You may say to yourself:
    “How did I get here?”

  4. When you found out what happened yesterday
While you were away in this land of Cain
We were upstairs in the bedroom
    Dancing
    Disgusting
And flushing our babies down the drain

  5. And I’m sitting in the kitchen sink
Listening to the tap drip drip drip drip drip drip drip

  6. You think about the past
    And how it didn’t last
You think of what’s to come and the battles to be won
You’re thinking all the time and you’re gonna lose your mind
    The same way
    The same way
The same way that you did before

  1. That would be:
    Mr. Petty
    Mr. Dylan
    Mr. Byrne and Friends
Mr. Bragg (I think, but I don’t want to google)
    Mr. Smith
and the last I do not know.
    I’m a tapdripper lately myself.
