Right, guys.

Good lord, 1.2 million people work in this cheerful shithole.

  1. NOT CHEERFUL
I used to work in the photo department processing film, and it was anything but cheerful. It was dirty, hateful, gossipy, rude, angry, and depressing. It turned me into an absolute bear 100% of the time, and the only way I could get through the day w/o popping was to abuse generic DayQuil. 😛 I finally quit when I was physically threatened by a co-worker with an icepick, because she thought I was after her girlfriend.

  2. Wow the Kansas City Star journalism is awe inspiring, with statements along the lines of “WalMart’s facts must be true because you could probably go check them out if you wanted to” and “even critics of WalMart must shop there because lots of people do”. I’m paraphrasing because I’m not going to be tricked into going back to that site just to get the quotes right.
