Don’t forget the likely four upcoming appointments to the Supreme Court.
This nation is f*cked for the rest of my life, and I’m sick as hell over what I can do about it. Is it time to give up on trying to make a difference? Is it time to go into self-preservation mode for the next 40 years? Or is it time to simply decide that this brave new world is not one that I cannot live in?
This gay man with a computer degree perfect for the “special skills draft” does not feel safe at all in America, and I hope beyond reason that some enlightened nation will open its doors to the new refugees from the USA.

With the Supreme Court situation being an immediate concern, I’m strongly considering self-preservation mode, myself. As much as I hate to be chased out of my country by bigots, my partner and I have already had preliminary discussions about Canada and Europe. We’ll see. I’m far too upset to be making decisions tonight.

The number of people who voted in fear this country terrifies me. I wonder how voters know how scary a Justice Thomas court could be? I guess we’ll find out.
