      1. Precisely because it is, in fact, impossible to read.
I don’t care what brilliance may lie within, if I see a paragraph much bigger than my hand, I skip right on past it. 🙂

  1. Frankly … I don’t see the problem with … you know … having one long paragraph … when writing online … it gives a more … impressionistic … view of the thought … process that goes into … the writing of … the piece … and it seems to me … that … it’s more important that the … original concept of the idea … be more prevalent … than the specific … presentation of the … actual physical … manifestation … of that idea … in terms of its … visual representation … versus its … somatic content … I think there’s … really no contest … that the piece has to be … true … to itself and … not to any … preconceived notion of … “textual” “layout” … or the tyrrany … imposed upon us by … legions of … typesetters and “writers” … who have no business … defining the spcific … nature of expression … for my thoughts or for … those of the teeming … masses of … expressive humanity whose … only … wish is to be … who they are .. and what they can … become in the fullness … of time and not to be … repressed by those … who simply by dint … of the ownership of … a printing press … believe that they can … rule writing and anyways … that’s why … I think it’s … ok to have … one … long … paragraph.

    1. Possibly the most offensive LJ icon ever. I love it!
And yeah, the “in memory of” thing isn’t confined to writing either. I’ve seen one that included a photo image of the decased. I think it was airbrushed onto the vehicle.
