I am already in a foul mood most of the time lately. People who interrupt me in mid-story with an objection to an irrelevant detail should have paid-up life insurance. Word to the wise.
One thing that bugs me the most when I’m out of sorts like this is that I can’t read for extended periods of time. I am a compulsive reader, the kind whose parents had to make sure he wasn’t reading under the covers at night, and it’s a huge pleasure to me. When I’m addled from bad thoughts and rampant emotions, I lose track of things about every third paragraph. Maddening.
The cat has taken to approaching me and holding out her paw and waiting. I pet the paw or “shake her hand” and she seems happy with this. I feel as though i should be pulling a thorn from her paw.
It’s maddening to have this tremendously urgent need to fix things about my life and have no way to fix them.
Sorry to interrupt. Im nto sure where you are going with this but a word to the wise woudl be unneccesary. It is a word to the unwise or at least unaware who wish to live to be wise some day…. anyway go on wiht what you were saying.

Cats have a knack for knowing when you’re troubled or hurt. Maybe it’d you who needs the thorn taken out, C.
And yeah, I hear you on the reading thing. One of the best things in the world… and maddeningly difficult when distressed or disturbed.
I recommend at least a brief change of scenery, hopefully accompanied by a cadre of willing listeners for more story telling. It might make you feel better. At the very least, it’ll make you think differently.
Peace

Ditto. Doing the same thing right now. Sucks that my favorite escape is not an option.

You know I understand. I wanted to strangle certain parties the other day when it was happening on channel. I didn’t know how to without causing massive explosions. Hurrrr durr.
Honk honk hug!
