With the exception of the buckle, I got those same boots from an Army surplus store in high school! “Paratrooper Style”

These are Double-H boots. They’re a bit softer than “real” paratrooper boots and they have better soles, but it is indeed the classic lace-up with zipper design. 🙂

those boots have more character and personality than everything in my closet put together.

They are Double-H 10″ jump boots ( http://www.doublehboots.com/pp/prod.php?s=8050&c=ur ) and I got them from Stompers Boots by mail order ( http://www.stompersboots.com/gtwy_city-3.php ) for $155 mailorder. You’re probably better at boot buying and able to get them for cheaper around here or something.

If you lived here, they’d be perfectly climate-appropriate.
