Somehow the post ended up in the wrong place, I claim “temporary insanity” but if that concerns you, don’t worry as I am working on making it “permanent.”

I’ve been suspicious of tinyurl without thinking the matter through. It’s good to see the issue argued out.
… I think that Suck.com broke taught me the rhetoric of the hyperlink, and it’s sad to go back to the archives and realize that half of its content (those parts not on the Suck servers) is gone.
The Sad thing is, of course, Haiti’s history in throwing off the oppression of slavery, only to acquire a different type of oppression.
