i’ve seen this guy’s work before and it is SO eerie to me, having grown up in phoenix. it’s like he took photos from inside my head circa 1984. his pictures are frequently just exactly the way i remember a place – the light, the age, the bleakness. arizona is a beautiful state but phoenix is not much of a jewel.
