zebulon_y: larval stage in fish, releases brane chemicals that makes the fish swim upside down and crazy
zebulon_y: white bellies attract birds who eat them and parasite matures and spawns in bird
ignatz: That would explain a lot of indie rock

I’ve seen Hipster Runoff start off as a cute blog run by some obviously very young kidz and watched turn into the alt (remember, anything worth blogging about is ALT) trend-announcer, a sorta modern day Playboy Advisor for Generation Y hipsters. It’s a fun read, less so as their influence strengthens and the pressure of keeping the meme riding in the upper regions of the blogosphere grows. You get burned when you fly too close to the Sun.
