THE COUCH: I think we’ve all been here

couch

You may find yourself in a beautiful house
With an enormous couch
You may find yourself in a narrow hallway
With a large piece of furniture

You may ask yourself: Well, how did I get here?

You may say to yourself: MY GOD, WHAT HAVE I DONE?

  1. I’m glad our endeavor has at least led to the creation of art in this cruel world.
It’s such a bummer because it’s way too nice a couch for us to even have. And those cushions are attached to the couch deep within. We’d have to rip it apart to get them off.

I thought of Adams’ couch in the impossibly small stairwell in the recent thread about the anthropic principle, and then somebody posted about Adams’ puddle musing on the perfection of it’s pothole, which was even more relevant.
