At least JetBlue has been compelled to do some serious backpedaling in the wake of the publicity generated by their agreement to beta-test CAPPS II in violation of their own goddamn privacy policy. My blood ran cold when I read about it, but maybe — just maybe — they’ve learned their lesson and won’t do it again. I hope so. I like JetBlue, and I like my civil liberties.
