Sucks, man. Being from Maine, I know all about this, much better than I wish I did.
There’s a reason that houses in Maine are -black- and -gray- or -black and gray-
While houses in, say, Mexico, are festive shades of pink and green.

The weather is making me cheerful. The hot, dry Santa Ana conditions had me so crabby, that this grey dampness is making me positively frisky. But it does make it hard to get up in the morning. What do you mean, I have to get out from under my cozy covers? It’s cold out there!

The best way to spend a gloomy November day is to spend it in England at Cafe Nero with a large cup of european coffee. Obviously if I were THERE doing THAT I’d be on vacation.
I always enter this time of year kicking and screaming. I just never want to trade in the flip flops for winter shoes.
